The purpose of life is to function. If you can take a breath then you have accomplished something. Everything else (people, clothes, food, water, video games, jobs, vacations, romance, toys, cars, movies, music) is just extra stuff we don't need. At a minimum a person can only survive seconds (maybe a minute at most) without oxygen, but can survive days without water and months without food and a life time without communication with anybody. So all we need is air. That's all it takes to live as in bodily function. The rest of that living the life stuff is just extra giving into your desires based on what the media tells you to think you need to be happy (dating, entertainment, vacations, money, etc). So all anybody needs is air. You breathe until you can't breathe anymore and then you die or sleep and all is peaceful and silent.

My boyfriend, well fiance, have been together on and off for 8 years now. We broke up a lot in the past, mostly over money issues and helping around the house. We now have two girls, 1 and almost 3. He works, but its just at a pizza place. I am trying to go back to school to better myself and he has that option as well, but would rather stay where he is. He likes to blow his money on junk food, video games and just crap in general. For example he got like $2000 back for income tax and gave me half. I took mine and payed off my cell phone debt, bought a net book, a few clothes that were on sale and stuff for our home. He who has multiple debts with different place took all his money and bought an over $300 guitar, a video camera, a few clothes and the rest just on crap that cannot even be accounted for. He doesn't help around the house at all. I spend all week cleaning and making meals for us all. If I'm gone for a few hours the house looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week. He likes to sleep ALL the time. If he gets up with the kids he will nap while they are playing and as soon as I do get up he goes back to bed until he literally has 10 mins to get ready for work. I lost someone close in my life last week and I have been going down to the house the last 3 nights to just be there for support, when I was leaving last night he asked me if I was cheating on him. He has a lot of friends that are girls, which doesn't bother me, what does bother me is whenever I suggest we all hang around so I can get to know them he makes an excuse why it can't happen. He stays up late surfing the net, so Im not sure what hes doing or who hes talking to. All my good friends say its time to say goodbye, even my therapist. I'm just afraid if we break up he will pull me back in like he usually does. I'm just looking for some help on how to handle this situation. Please no rude comments, if you are just going to put me down go somewhere else to do that.

I have a premade PC. Bought it at WalMart. It's not made for gaming at all. At the time of purchasing, this wasn't a big deal because I wasn't too hardcore into PC gaming and I didn't think I ever would be. Then I got into Team Fortress 2. Now, I want to run Bioshock and with my current specs, it's just not happening.

I have a GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 that the PC came with. I also have an old Radeon 9200 SE that I used with my old PC. When I tried to install the new card, it wouldn't fit. I've heard that there are different cards of cards for different motherboards, so I assume that's what the problem was, but I don't really know anything about it. It's all very confusing to me.

Anyway, I just need a cheap video card that WILL fit in the slot and run Bioshock.

there was this game i used to play on N64, i thought it was called DOOM 64 but when i searched it i didnt recognize it. the game started off with a man in this space suite looking thing, you cant go in the water long or you die, you get out of this space ship and you have to kill these giant bugs. Now I am curious, is it possible for a game reviewer to get youtube partnership if he or she has enough subscribers?

I ask, because in a small way, video footage from a game in the review is technically copywrited material.

I have seen quite a few game reviewers with youtube partnership, such as the angry video game nerd, irate gamer, zeitgeistreviews ect. So I wonder does youtube play favourites or is it possible?

I know they haven't revealed a release date, let alone the system requirements. However I've never gone laptop shopping before and I was wondering what would be a good one for when it comes out. In the mean time I'll most likely use it for single player games like Dragon Age Origins or Mass Effect. The main purpose of it is for college, however in my downtime I do enjoy playing video games casually.

My price range is around $800-1,200. I've been trying to compare the game's requirements to what the laptop has, but there's so much to look at such as graphics cards, ghz, etc. I'm afraid I might miss one detail and then realize I can't play a game smoothly. I understand playing PC games are better/cheaper for a Desktop, however in that sense I would rather just pay for one good laptop then spend a lot on a Desktop AND a laptop too.

Any websites, helpful advice, or linking laptops would be great. I'll appreciate any help you guys can give this student.
